CINELIN
Despite being manufactured Spanish, there is little data on this small movie theater. This is a simple system consisting of a façade with a central hole through which runs a strip vertical bulleted sequenced. It was illuminated by a need to get behind a film, turning the crank to go back by moving forward on the histories. Includes sheet of instructions explaining how to use the Cinelin and lists the various published works.

Teatrino de madera |

Wood "Teatrino". 1986
constructed by Gerardo Torres Beltrán.
We call "teatrino" to small theaters that were built to scale so that the set designers, lighting and stage managers could study the decor and layout of racks of big productions before build scale. It is also quite possible that the models used to search patrons who invest in these expensive productions.
This theater was built with great detail by Gerardo Torres (head coach of Valencia Olympia Theatre) and features the scenery of the book The bundle of roses by Pablo Sorozábal. Gerardo builds these small works of art as a hobby and I am fortunate to have this one thanks to his generosity.
